The trail has an offshoot halfway in that takes you up towards the tower on the top of Sleeping Giant, a popular destination. Taking the trail the whole way will bring you out to a trailhead on Chestnut Lane. Here the violet, white, orange, green and horseshoe trails can all be picked up.
