Pattie Belle Hastings
Pattie Belle has been teaching digital art and design courses at the college level since 1990. She has also taught a variety of workshops from book and printmaking methods to time management for creative types. While making art is intensely gratifying, there is something about working with people and sharing a passion that she has not been able to replicate except in a classroom or workshop. Pattie Belle loves it – with all its complications and sacrifices. She misses teaching desperately when she is away from it.

Southern Connecticut State University Introductory Web Project
A short, introductory class, this project required students to design, construct, test, and upload a personal web site using ”industry standard” tools such as Photoshop, ImageReady, FireWorks, DreamWeaver, and Illustrator. For most students, this was their first experience with designing for the screen and they worked exceptionally hard to pull enough knowledge together to launch a small site.
